[OnWisconsin.com] January 15, 2005--Thomas, a lecturer in the department of economics and international development at the University of Bath in England, presents a thoughtful dissertation on how religion has transformed the international playing field and how nations must now relate to and deal with each other. And he does this in language that non-political, non-academic types can understand. ("I wanted to see if I could write something that somebody who reads The Atlantic Monthly could pick up," he told me, sounding somewhat sheepish.)
