Church moves into new home

[Lexingtn-Herald Leader] February 9, 2005--The 6-acre campus that the Church of the Apostles left behind when it split from the Episcopal Church last month is getting a new identity.

A group of young Episcopalians has started a new congregation, All Saints Episcopal Church, which is meeting at the Trent Boulevard site.

Matt Hartney was one of 15 people who attended services on the first Sunday after the Church of the Apostles left.

One can hardly blame the Rev. Martin Gornik and the congregation of Apostles Anglican Church for leaving the Diocese of Lexington when its bishop Stacy Sauls does not know the difference between the revisionist gospel of radical inclusion and the Gospel of Christ. It is a shame to see a group of deluded young Episcoplians with Sauls' blessing setting up a synagogue of Satan on the campus which the Church of the Apostles bought.
