[The Christian Post] April 28, 2005--The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is considering giving exceptions to the no non-celibate homosexual clergy rule.

Currently, the ELCA – the nation’s largest Lutheran denomination – does not allow any clergy member to be sexually active outside of wedlock. Marriage in the church is defined as a union between one man and one woman only.
