http://www.churchnewspaper.com/editorial.php

[The Church of England Newspaper] July 14, 2005--Amir Tehari, an Iranian commentator, said in the Times that the terrorists are in fact motivated purely by religious zeal, and that the bombing was a shock raid or ghazava, designed to jolt the corrupt West, now so evil as to be impervious to normal persuasion, to wake up to the message of Islam. Islam is the final way God ordained for all human needs, spiritual, economic, political and social, down to the last detail, and so this ghazava is a means to a divine end.
