[The Church of England Newspaper] August 5, 2005--Driving on the left, the weather and pubs are more important than the Church of England in defining what it is to be British, according to a recent YouGov survey. Leading politicians, lawyers and clergy have expressed concern over the findings, which they argue show a lack of recognition for the role Christianity has played in shaping the country.
