[This Day] January 12, 2006--It took about ten years for the people of Aguata in Imo State to get a Diocese of their own, it was therefore not a surprise when recently, the sons and daughters of Anglican Church indigenes of Aguata in Lagos gathered together at the National Arts Theater, Iganmu, Lagos to celebrate the birth of Aguata Diocese as well as welcome Rt. Rev Christian .0. Efobi, pioneer Bishop of the Diocese and the infrastructure that has been put in place by the Lord for use for the development of the Diocese.
