[VirtueOnline] February 3, 2006--My aim is to briefly set forth, using one example, why orthodox Christian theology implies miracle and healing. The one example is the theologian, Schleiermacher (1768-1834).(1) He is considered the father of liberal theology, and like many of today's liberals, he did not believe in miracles.
