Recife Parish receives National Award

[Anglican Mainstream] March 16, 2006--The Holy Spirit Anglican Parish, from Jaboatão dos Guararapes City, State of Pernambuco, Diocese of Recife, whose Rector is the Ven. Archdeacon Revd. Miguel Uchoa, just received the national award “Healthy Church”, out of 1.000 other ecclesiastical communities that develops this vision of a Holistic Mission (Worship, Service, Fellowship, Evangelism and Discipleship). For the first time the award comes to an Anglican and Northeastern parish. The award will be received next April 21st in the Brazilian Congress of Purpose Driven Churches. Congratulations!
