[The Calgary Sun] April 16, 2006--The current all-out assault on the credibility of the Christian scriptures -- the "discovery" of the Gospel of Judas, the Gospel of Thomas, the factually fabricated Da Vinci Code -- has about it a certain irony.

I like a lot of people read "THE DAVINCI CODE". Okay, well now what. So what is the point of how exactly all of these things happened. As far as christ goes, I still beleive. Now if he got married, well I see that as his business, remember he was half human. And to be honest way more than half of me likes women. Okay, now, the way I see it, wether ou read the bible, the Koran, or the jewish texts in that time period, they all refer to Mary Giving birth as a Virgin. The Immaculant conception is believed true in three of the most controversial and biggest religions in the world. So to me if they can all agree on that. Then, there must be a reason it would be said. Especially about a women that lived in those times. I mean an unwed women giving birth to child would have been horrible. No one would make that up, unless to slander. So therefore it would only lay to reason that there must be some truth to this. Now I agree that some symbology might have been borrowed here and there, but again does that really take away from one of the most revered men, in history. I think not. Ohh yeah again read the 19th chapter of the Karan. It does speak, of the virgin mary giving birth to jesus. HEck even the Muslims agree this is a miracle. No offenxe muslims, just making a point to the single minded christians.
Well and all of this comming from a devout Catholic, what has this world come to.
So in conclusion, I think faith will prevail, and all this may be is a someones own journey to discovering there own faith. Remember "Relgion is mans attempt to govern Faith." This is my quote. Lets just pray about it to whatever your God is, and see the truth that will be revealed.
