[The Church of England Newspaper] April 7, 2006--Over half of American bishops have said that they do not support the consecration of Gene Robinson, the gay bishop whose election sparked a crisis in worldwide Anglicanism. The survey of bishops of the American Episcopal Church also found mixed support for the blessing of same-sex unions.
