Nigerian Anglican Activist Warns of ‘Gay’ Exodus

http://www.ukgaynews.org.uk/Archive/07/March/1801.htm

[UK Gay News] 19 Mar 2007--The Nigerian branch of the Anglican Church pressure group on LGBT rights, Changing Attitude Nigeria (CAN), is warning other countries that the passing of the anti-gay marriage bill could cause significant problems for them, too.

Restrictions in the bill are so draconian and oppressive that it could result in a potential flood of gay Nigerians fleeing to other countries. The main targets would be other countries that Nigerians often travel to, such as Britain.

Is Davic Mac-Iyalla suggesting that if Britains don't pressure their government to protest the Nigerian government' proposed legislation against gay organizations and gay pornography, the United Kingdom will be swamped with Nigerian gays? This is really weird!

Funny how having won their freedom from British rule another group can't wait to get back in. These people would make could Anglicans in that they want to belong to something that they don't like.
