[The Bay Area Reporter] 10 May 2007--The Episcopal Church in the United States, and perhaps throughout the world, took its latest step toward schism on May 5 when conservative Nigerian Archbishop Peter J. Akinola installed Martyn Minns as a "missionary bishop" in the United States, in a ceremony near Washington, D.C.
