[Stand Firm] 16 May 2007--It's interesting to see how people respond to the death of a controversial figure. Falwell certainly falls into that category and so the responses to him make interesting reading.
There are a number of us evangelicals who disagreed with Falwell's theology. It was a certain "brand" of fundamentalism that we did not agree with and Liberty University also promoted a brand of Arminianism that we consider to be incorrect.
Nevertheless, I think those of us who take this view would heartily endorse Al Mohler's article "Educated, Inspired Conservative Christians", which contains a tribute to Falwell....
