Greetings to Bishop Minns from two Church of England Bishops

[Anglican Mainstrean] 5 May 2007--Two members of the Church of England are attending the installation of Bishop Martyn Minns as Bishop of the Convocation of Anglicans in North America (CANA) by Archbishop Peter Akinola in Virginia today.

The Rev David Banting, the chair of Reform and a trustee of Anglican Mainstream, will be representing both networks. Gerald O’Brien, a lay representative from the Rochester Diocese on General Synod, will also be present, taking with him greetings from almost 30 General Synod members, including his own bishop, Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali of Rochester, and Bishop George Cassidy of Southwell and Nottingham, the diocese from which Martyn and Angela Minns hail.
