[Christianity Today UK] 3 July 2007--Nigerian Archbishop, the Most Rev Maxwell Anikwenwa, has ordained nine new deacons into the Anglican Communion and exhorted them to become great ambassadors of the Church by testifying the message of the “undiluted Gospel” to all people.

Archbishop Anikwenwa told the deacons that they were called to serve the church of God, and that they should work with its members to care for the poor sick and troubled, reports the All Africa news agency.
