[Anglican Mainstream] 20 Sep 2007--The Archbishop of of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, is to hold a secret Communion service in London with members of a support group for gay clergy, it was revealed this week. The Eucharist, organised by the Clergy Consultation organisation, will take place on November 29 at St Peter’s Church in Eaton Square, followed by an address by the Archbishop on the subject of gay involvement in the Church. The details of the address and subsequent discussion are to remain off the record as the meeting will take place under the confidential ‘Chatham House Rules’, which the group hope will lead to ‘honest and open dialogue’ with the Archbishop.
