The Feminization of the Ministry -- A Milestone in Britain

http://www.albertmohler.com/blog_read.php?id=1055

[AlbertMohler.com] 17 Nov 2007--The Church of England ordained more women than men in the past year, according to news reports across Great Britain. The church reported a total of 423 ordinations last year, 213 women and 210 men.

That statistical development might seem insignificant -- after all new women priests outnumbered new men by only three. But the really significant fact is that women outnumbered men as new priests for the first time. It will not be the last.

GASP -- Say it ain't so!!!! Perish the thought! A priest with a uterus! That doesn't sound apostolic at all. Didn't we prohibit that? Didn't we ask that the Church stop such nonsense in the Dar Es Salaam communique? Wasn't that the secret 39th and a half article? Didn't Jesus refuse to have anything to do with women? Oh wait, no. That last part isn't right at all. In fact, I think Jesus may have actually spoken with, taught, eaten with and touched women. Hmmmm, now I'm so confused.
