[Anglican Mainstream] 15 Nov 2008--CAPA, the Council of Anglican Provinces of Africa, has announced that they will not recognize the Episcopal Church’s deposition of Bishop Duncan, and they regard him as a Bishop in good standing. At nearly the same time the Diocese of Pittsburgh re-elected Bishop Duncan to be the Diocesan Bishop, thus giving him his old job back, except now both the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh and Bishop Duncan are out of TEC and a temporary part of the Province of the Southern Cone. Along with Pittsburgh’s departure from TEC, the Diocese of Quincy at their Nov. 7-8 meeting broke ties with The Episcopal Church and also realigned with the Province of the Southern Cone. This weekend the Diocese of Fort Worth holds their Diocesan Convention and will vote on breaking ties with TEC and aligning with the Southern Cone. Spanish lessons anyone?
