Stretch forth the right hand of thy mercy, O Lord, over all the men and women serving their country at home, on the sea, and in other lands, especially those who are in the midst of battle, that they may seek thee wherever they are, and come to know thee and thy Son, our Saviour Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.
