Are you spending too much time in meetings?


Lifeway Research once found that 65 percent of pastors work more than 50 hours a week. And, because of that, we ignore the most important things. Lifeway’s study reported that pastors spend most of their time in meetings and electronic correspondence while “counseling, visitations, family time, prayer, and personal devotions suffer ….”

The Apostle Paul’s answer to this was to stay clearly focused on his ministry goals: “So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing.” (1 Corinthians 9:26 NLT).
