An Anglican church blossoms in northern Chatham County

New churches usually "get planted" by an individual or by another church, but that's not exactly what happened in Chatham County, where a new Anglican congregation has begun to hold regular weekly services in space that it shares with Evergreen United Methodist Church.

"This isn't about a church planter going off and doing his own thing," said David Hyman, the new church priest. "This is the ripple effect."

What he means is that Holy Trinity Chatham really began more than a year ago when a small group of folks living in Chatham and attending All Saints Anglican on Guess Road in Durham, where Hyman was associate rector, began getting together. To read more, click here.
