Jeff Lockyer On Ministering To LGBTQ, Young Leadership, Women In Leadership And Reaching The People And The Poor In A City [Podcast]

Jeff Lockyer has been the Lead Pastor of what is now Southridge Church since he was in his early 20’s. He talks about what that journey was like, team leadership, ministering to LGBTQ in his city, and how his church has made reaching the poor part of their mission of reaching people. Listen Now
This is an extract from Carey Nieuwhof's email about this podcast:
"There are few issues that have been more divisive and contentious over the last few years than how the LGBTQ community and the church interact.

That's why I'm so appreciative of how Jeff Lockyer, a friend who leads a large church near Niagara Falls, talked about his congregation's unique relationship with LGBTQ people. Jeff's congregation isn't affirming, and yet many LGBTQ attend every week and love his church.

Jeff and I also tackle young leaders (he was in his early 20s when he became the Lead Pastor), co-leading, women in leadership, and reaching the poor and the unchurched at the same time."
