Photos: Flooding in Japan has killed more than 100

Note to Readers: The link to the photos now works.

Floods and landslides triggered by days of rain in Japan have killed at least 114 people, Reuters reports. The floods are considered the worst the country has seen in 35 years.

While Monday’s clearer weather allowed rescuers to target the more than 60 people still unaccounted for, food and water are in short supply in some of the more remote affected areas. View Photos

The second post is an update of an earlier post. It includes a map of the areas of Japan affected by the flooding and landslides and videos of these areas and the rescue efforts. These two articles will give readers an idea of the magnitude of this catastrophe for the Japanese people and how readers may pray for them. The death toll from the flooding and landslides keeps climbing. I am not able to post any photos of the devastation due to the possibility of copyright infringement.
