[Church Times] January 14, 2005--The Sunday bell-ringer at a Welsh church ran for his life just before the morning service when the 300-lb bell fell. The incident took place at St David' s, Abergwili, near Carmarthen, when the bell suddenly fell ten feet and crashed into a concrete stage. The ringer, Huw Binding, escaped unhurt. He has now resigned from bell-ringing.
