Primates speak of 'miraculous' unanimity

[Church Times] February 25, 2005--The American and Canadian Churches have been asked voluntarily to withdraw from a key body in Anglican Communion for the three-year period leading up to the next Lambeth Conference in 2008. The news came in a communiqué issued late on Thursday night, 24 hours earlier than expected. The Archbishop of Canterbury described it as a "small miracle" that the communiqué was unanimously owned by the Primates, and believed that the outcome had strengthened the Anglican Church.
