[The Living Church] November 18, 2005--In a release published earlier today, Archbishop Akinola described as “pitiable” the media “spin” that is “drawing attention away from the deep Biblical discussion contained in our response” and said their response was released “when it was fully ready,” not, as has been suggested in the British press, timed to cause maximum embarrassment to Archbishop Williams.
