Corroborating, Bishop Chukwuma observed that the church does a lot to save women from bastardisation on unknown influences of the old, stating that the church has not rested in seeing that the dignity of women are not trampled upon. He added that "whatever belongs to the man belongs to the wife. The attitude of punishing women over inheritance is archaic.
