[VirtueOnline] May 1, 2006--More than 300 clergy and laity from the Diocese of Pennsylvania gathered at St. George's Episcopal Church last night and heard Diocesan Standing Committee leaders say that $20 million had been spent on purchasing Camp Wapiti in Maryland, and another $500,000 is spent every year on overhead, with the prospect that the diocese may now face bankruptcy. Bishop Charles Bennison was not invited and did not attend.
