Nomination Period for Primates’ Pastoral Council Ends Today

[The Living Church] 17 Mar 2007--Regardless of whatever response the House of Bishops eventually offers on behalf of The Episcopal Church to the Feb. 19 communiqué from the primates of the Anglican Communion, the Archbishop of Canterbury seems determined to implement without delay the primates’ proposal to establish a pastoral council and primatial vicar for congregations and dioceses who have sought alternate pastoral oversight.
