[The Living Church] 2 Feb 2008--The six standing members of the Episcopal Diocese of San Joaquin have acknowledged Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori’s personal right not to recognize them as the legitimate standing committee, but warned her in an email message sent Feb. 1 that any attempt to remove them will be challenged vigorously.
