ACNA News: Christ Our King Anglican Church dedicates New Braunfels multipurpose building
Christ Our King Anglican Church dedicated a 16,000-square-foot multipurpose building at at its campus in New Braunfels on Friday August 12.
Bishop Bill Atwood of the International Diocese of the Anglican Church in North America officiated at the dedication.
At the same event Bishop Atwood also ordained Issac Rehberg and Rodney Wood as transitional deacons.
A luncheon was held after the service.
The new building, located at 467 FM 1863, will have seating for about 350 people. It includes a worship space, kitchen, fellowship hall area and 11 classrooms.
The long-term plan is to construct a sanctuary and convert the building into a parish hall, according to church leaders.
The new building will provide a permanent location for the 4-year-old congregation.
The congregation had previously been renting a facility.
