You might be wondering what happened.
In the last update we said:
We're currently aiming to have the site 'open for inspection' on 14 October, 2013, and to take membership subscriptions from 1 November. So... the 14 October has come and gone, and perhaps you noticed that we haven't actually launched the site yet—there's still only a landing page to visit. Sorry about that. We really tried hard to get there.
But as they say, you only get one chance to make a first impression. We just want to make sure your first impression of GoThereFor.com is a really good one. So we've given ourselves a few more days to tidy up, do extra testing, and iron out any remaining bugs.
We promise you'll be the first to know when it's open for inspection next week.
So what's the latest?
One of the exciting new resources available on GoThereFor.com will be Six Steps to Loving Your Church (by Colin Marshall and Tony Payne).
This latest title in our ‘Six Steps’ series of practical training courses focuses on the ministry that every Christian has every Sunday—the joy of loving, serving and encouraging those around us at church. It’s a course that helps turn consumers into contributors, and passengers into players. Over the six sessions, participants will learn not only what church is really about, but how all of us can be engaged in ‘the ministry of the pew’—an active, loving service of others, before, during and after church.
