The failure of parents to obtain the proper immunizations for their children is a serious public health problem in the US and the UK as is the practice of parents deliberately exposing their children to childhood diseases like measles. A number of what parents erroneously view as harmless childhood diseases can cripple or kill some children. They can also seriously damage unborn children in their mother's womb.
