All Hallows Evening Prayer is a service of worship in the evening for all pilgrims on the journey to the heavenly city.
In his letter to the Ephesians Paul paints a rather stark picture of our spiritual state before Jesus’ suffering and death on the cross opened to us the way of salvation. No hope. Without God. We were outsiders. We had no part in the covenants of promise to the people of Israel.
The Scripture reading for this Saturday evening is Ephesians 2: 11-22 One in Christ.
