All Hallows Evening Prayer is a service of worship in the evening for all pilgrims on the journey to the heavenly city.
Whether we call it Easter Sunday, the Feast of the Resurrection of our Lord, or Resurrection Sunday, it is a reminder that Christians do not follow a dead teacher whose bones are lying in some forgotten grave. We serve a living Lord who rose from the dead and calls his followers friends. The Scripture reading for this Sunday is John 20: 1-18 The Resurrection.
The homily is titled “Bearers of Good News.”
