All Hallows Evening Prayer is a service of worship in the evening for all pilgrims on the journey to the heavenly city.
On my daily walks I often pass joggers, air buds crammed into their ears. They sweep past me in a blare of loud music. I often pass other walkers too, their eyes glued to their cell phones. No one is paying attention to what is going on around them. During his earthly ministry Jesus was very attentive to his surroundings, not just to people, but to all God’s creation.
The Scripture reading for this Thursday is Luke 12: 22-31 Teaching about Money and Possessions.
The homily is titled “Look and Learn.”
