This Sunday All Hallows Murray once again offers two services—Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer. The order of service for both services comes from The Church of England’s service book, Common Worship (2000). The morning readings are different from the evening reading as are the songs and the homily.
The morning service begins at the top of the page at the Acclamation of Christ at the Dawning of the Day. Scroll down the page for the beginning of the evening service as the Blessing of the Light. Morning Readings:
Old Testament: Genesis 32: 22–31 Jacob wrestles with the angel of the Lord.
New Testament: Luke 18:1–8 The Parable of the Importunate Widow.
Evening Reading:
Old Testament: Jeremiah 38: 1-13 Jeremiah in a Cistern.

Evening Homily: "Precious in God’s Sight"
