[Anglican Mission in America] December 14, 2005--The Pevensie children have returned, this time to motion picture cinemas around the world as The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe has opened at the height of the holiday film season. This latest production from the Disney Studios captures much that is enduring and essential about the book, penned by CS Lewis, one of the top selling authors of all time. An Ox-bridge Don and Anglican churchman, Lewis was known all over the world for his ability to bring the mind and heart together in Christian literature. The new film is co-produced by his stepson, Douglas Gresham, and was tops in the box-office opening weekend.
