[Anglican Mission in America] December 14, 2005--Bishop John Rodgers has ordained two people to ministry in the AMiA, who will serve under Bishop Thad Barnum.
At services in Hudson, Ohio Sarah B. Nix was ordained to the permanent Diaconate on Saturday December 3rd. The Rev. Nix came to Holy Trinity from the Methodist Church where she was a Licensed Local Pastor. In addition to her sacramental duties, The Rev. Nix will oversee the church's Alpha program, ministries of visitation, altar service, and prayer with her rector The Rev. Doc Loomis. Sarah and her husband David have been married 25 years and have one daughter, Ali. The Nix's reside in Bath, OH.
Ordained to the Priesthood in Florida was Carlos Miranda. He has been raised up through the Anglican Church of the Word in Pembroke Pines, Florida, in order to eventually plant a new church in Miami.
