Human Sexuality, Marriage, and Divorce: The Challenges Facing the Twenty-First Century Church

I am posting links to a number of articles related the particular challenges the Twenty-First Century Church is facing in relation to human sexuality, marriage, and divorce. I would like to comment on one article. In "The Silence of Jesus and the Voice of the Apostles" Wesley Hill fails to fully address the misconception that Jesus is silent on the issue of homosexual behavior. In the Gospels of Matthew and Mark Jesus uses the term pornia in a response to the criticism of the Pharisees and scribes. This term, as it was used at that time, and as it would have been understood by Jesus' audiences, included homosexual behavior, as well as adultery and other forms of illicit sexual intercourse.
