[Anglican Mission in America] March 2, 2006--Nanaimo, British Columbia, is a beautiful place. Located in Vancouver Island--a harbour town and close to mountains--it’s a paradise in the minds of many. It’s also home to the Light of Christ Church, an Anglican Coalition in Canada congregation that has called a new Rector to lead them forward in discipleship and mission. The Rev. Kathy King is used to ‘destination’ towns, having most recently served on staff at an AMiA congregation in Buena Vista, Colorado.
