Anglican Consultative Head Apologizes for Ostracizing Episcopal Church

[The Christian Post] March 7, 2006--The head of the Anglican body that told the U.S. Episcopal Church to temporarily rescind its membership from key international Anglican gatherings apologized Monday and said the global communion “needs the Episcopal Church.”

John Paterson is sending the wrong message to the ECUSA. If he cannot support the decision of the Anglican Consultative Council, he should step down as its chair.
