Anglican Mission Leaders' Gathering Builds Momentum for Church Planting

[Anglican Mission in America News] 16 May 2007--The Anglican Mission Council of Bishops and Mission Network Leaders met together in Chicago May 8-10, 2007, reinforcing their commitment to building community among our network leaders and deepening their collaboration, communication, and celebration of all that the Lord is doing in and through our Networks. Such gatherings will be scheduled regularly and are designed to strengthen existing networks and resource the development of emerging networks in new territories.

"We are coming together to discuss what is and what will be," said Bishop Chuck Murphy, Chairman of the Anglican Mission. "These meetings give us the opportunity to build momentum for our church planting and other mission initiatives in a strategic way."
