The Canterbury Myth

http://www.standfirminfaith.com/index.php/site/article/5720/

[Stand Firm] 10 Sep 2007--What has happened in recent years, accelerated by the Windsor Report, is a move from theological unity to institutional unity. It’s a shift from the scriptures and Anglican theology as preserved in its formularies to four modern entities with Canterbury in the driver seat. This makes “the heritage” almost incidental to the hugely exaggerated role of the Archbishop of Canterbury, and it’s a departure from historic Anglicanism. Unity that is institutional and not doctrinal is not unity at all.
