[Anglican Mainstream] 8 Sep 2007--The Church of England Newspaper of August 17 reported that the next edition of Religious Trends (No 7, 2007/2008) to be published in October shows “that in the UK there are many more catholic, mainstream evangelical and charismatic evangelical churchgoers than ministers, and far fewer who are broad or liberal.”

In detail mainstream and charismatic evangelical churchgoers make up 34% of all churchgoers, while their male ministers make up 12% of male ministers and their female ministers are 8% of female ministers. Liberal churchgoers are 9% of all churchgoers, and their ministers make up 25% of all male ministers and 38% of all female ministers.

An over-representation of liberal ministers.
