Competing Numbers, Apologies, & “The Troubles” in the AC

[Stand Firm] 1 Aug 2008--Yesterday Bishop Harold Miller, of the Diocese of Down and Dromore [Ireland], was kind enough to sit down with me and discuss several Lambeth Conference events and issues.

The 45-minute discussion covers the Reflection document, the issues of subsidiarity and adiaphora, past maneuverings at Lambeth 1998, how The Troubles in Ireland compare with the divisions in the Anglican Communion, what things might be added to strengthen the recommendations of the Windsor Continuation Group, the nature of apologies, and a look at the Province of Ireland.
