[OneNewsNow] 21 Oct 2008--A public-interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption is concerned about press reports that the Barack Obama presidential campaign has allegedly accepted illegal online campaign contributions from a variety of small donors, including foreign nationals.
Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton says the Obama campaign has failed to release the names of donors who have contributed less than $200 to his election effort, and those donors have given Obama approximately half of his nearly $427 million in total contributions. He notes there have already been reports of alleged illegality with some of the donations that have been made public.
