Nashota, Winsconsin Church Joins Anglican Church in North America

Rev. Canon Thad Butcher is new Rector.

St. Michael's Anglican Church in Nashotah, WI has been officially received into the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA), having been formally approved for membership by the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh at its annual convention on November 5th. The congregation meets at 2777 Mission Road in Nashotah.

Saint Michael's joins 1,000 other Anglican parishes in the North American fellowship which have entered into communion to worship in the Anglican tradition under a commitment to honor a traditional and historical reliance on Scripture and Biblical teaching. The Anglican Church in North America unites nearly 100,000 Anglicans across the United States and Canada into a single church. It is a Province-in-formation in the 85 million member global Anglican Communion.

The new parish will be under the guidance of Archbishop Robert Duncan, Primate of the Anglican Church in North America, who also serves in a dual role as the Bishop who will oversee the local parish. To read more, click here.
