[Stand Firm] 20 Sep 2007--The heirarchs at 815, from all that I have read in the weeks leading up to this meeting, see an opportunity in Canterbury's participation and support of the failed Sub-Group report. They will couch any compromise plan they offer in terms that recall the findings of that report. The strategy, I think, will be to win Canterbury's approval and that of the Primates' Standing Committee for some sort of interim proposal, replacing Dar, that permits the status quo to continue at least until the Covenant is finalized.
