The Council on American-Islamic Relations and the Muslim American Society have been designated terrorist organizations by the United Arab Emirates, The Blaze reported Sunday. The two organizations were listed alongside al Qaeda, the Islamic State and various branches of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The entire list, which includes Hezbollah Brigades in Iraq, Boko Haram and Islamic Relief Worldwide of the Global Muslim Brotherhood, was published by WAM, the official state news agency. News of the listing did not sit well with either U.S. group. Read more
